Jamdani Cotton Silk - Mira
Handwoven Jamdani Cotton Silk (soft fabric) saree from bengal.
Jamdani is a discontinuous weft technique of weaving, and can be defined as the art of fine Parsi Gara done on the loom. In Jamdani, motifs are inlaid into the fabric by adding a denser thread to fine warp threads by hand. This process is considered the most time intensive and one of the most advanced hand weaving techniques in the world.

On a usual day, an artisan weaves between a quarter and one inch of fabric. This means a weaver could spend more than a year weaving one full Jamdani sari.
Difference in shade might appear due to camera lights.
Variations in color and patterns are inherent characteristics of handloom products and are not defects.
